APARTMENT THERAPY

If you’ve ever worried about knocking over an Adler lamp or Iittala vase at the décor-packed Quasi Modo, you’ll find Martin Meyers’ latest furnishing venture knik-knak free and sparse in comparison.

The large, lofty space on Ossington showcases only a few carefully curated pieces. In fact, One Twenty Modern is more like a who’s who design gallery. Think Fernando and Humberto Campana’s Vermelha Armchair ($9,264) Philippe Stark’s bonze stools (from $877) and Karim Rashid’s Butterfly chair ($353).

Prices are hefty, but hey, it’s always fun to see how the other half lives, lounges and dines.
